Southcars is a directed service net whose purpose is to assist those seeking to contact other stations, or areas, to provide weather and travel information, when available, and to assist in emergencies. Southcars is in operation Monday through Saturday -- 8AM until 2PM and on Sunday 8AM until 10AM and Noon until 2PM -- all times are Eastern.
